Vicky’s travel escapades are what culinary dreams are made of. He is constantly on the move to satiate his hunger for all things new and quench his thirst for knowledge. From World Food Exhibitions to Anuga in Germany; from FHA, Singapore, World Flavour Conference in Napa, California to Madrid Fusion in Spain, Vicky’s footprints are found across the globe.
In 2009, he went to New Orleans along with 6 other Indian Chefs to learn the intricacies of Southern US cuisine, mainly Cajun and Creole styles.
In 2010, he visited 5 champagne houses in France and attended a number of private tastings.
His trips are not only intellectually stimulating but also double up as
gastronomical extravaganzas, giving Vicky an opportunity to sample street-food in Istanbul, tickle his taste-buds at famous “hole in the wall” eateries, try sumptuous cuisine at 2-3 Star Michelin restaurants and devour the most eclectic fine dining experiences all over. |
